About the role

We're looking for a Senior Tech Lead Software Engineer to join our team as we turn FRAQAIR into one of the most beloved sustainable brands in the world.
As a senior technical leader, you’ll help drive the website vision to its optimization with impact across multiple teams. You will work with your team to design and build technically innovative solutions to build a great website for buyers and sellers. You will build a highly scalable, performant, and reliable website that benefits directly from the work you do. You will maintain a high bar for quality and lead and mentor other engineers. And of course, you’ll be hands-on in the code and contribute technically.

Qualifications

Experience and skills that are important for success in this role:

  • A proven track record of strong technical mentorship and influencing the technical direction for sizeable technical organizations
  • Experience building large scale, high throughput distributed systems and scaling web services, particularly those using and analyzing large amounts of data
  • High level of fluency with and experience using technologies and frameworks like (but not limited to) some of our most-used languages - Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, Java/JEE, Node.js, PHP, Python, React or React Native, Golang, Kubernetes - or deep experience with any object-oriented language and relevant transferrable technologies
  • A passion for efficiency and collaboration, with a history of establishing great relationships with UX and Product Management teams across time zones
  • A commitment and drive for quality, technical excellence, and results
  • Curiosity and passion to constantly learn new things; Shop changes fast, and we need the people who work here to be able to change and learn fast too
  • Proficiency in systems thinking and systems design concepts like transactions, atomicity, idempotency, etc.
  • Raise the quality and speed (team efficiency) bar and move the platform into a position of maximum leverage
  • Use the right tool for the job, fix problems are the right level of abstraction, and optimize to meet both functional and non-functional goals

#F001. Sr. Marketing Design Lead (Remote, EMEA)

About the role

The Global Marketing FR team is a multidisciplinary team of creative/content designers, front-end developers, and experiential producers. We create visuals, words, & experiences to share & amplify the FRAQAIR mission globally, primarily focusing on products & One FRAQAIR programs/campaigns. We develop visual IDs & creative systems that enable global & regional teams to tell cohesive product stories across events, campaigns, & owned properties.
As a Sr. Lead, you’re comfortable working in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment. You thrive in change and can navigate ambiguity, to move our team vision and company mission forward. You are an equal parts designer and art director. You lead by example and have a point of view on design thinking and strategy.
You believe that design is as much about behavior and emotion, as it is about acquisition and engagement. You can take complex ideas and translate them into understandable creative components for implementation and execution across multiple mediums and channels. And you are a lifelong learner, understanding the value of user feedback and performance metrics, to help improve your craft.

Qualifications

Experience and skills that are important for success in this role:

  • Portfolio that demonstrates strong brand instincts, versatility, and point of view
  • Experience building and managing a high-performing multidisciplinary design network of freelancers and/or marketing creative teams
  • Leadership background and experience in startup, marketing creative, and/or eCommerce industries (bonus points: B2B marketing experience)
  • Highly proficient with design/prototyping/creative tools (i.e. Figma, Adobe CC)
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of digital ad best practices, UX/UI design standards and patterns, and/or experiential approaches
  • Knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Strong ability to think in scale and impact, from short-term to long-term and from high-level strategy choices to day-to-day execution
  • High levels of user empathy, social acumen, and self-accountability
  • Internet- and tech-savvy.

About the role

As a Paid Media Manager for Italy, you will be responsible for shaping & executing growth strategies for the Display & video community of practice. You will work closely with your peers in Data Science, Design & Product.  This role will require you to build strong relationships and partnerships with teams of different disciplines, in many regions and at all levels.

Qualifications

Experience and skills that are important for success in this role:

  • Expert level experience with programmatic and online video, including buying, trafficking, analyzing, and optimizing.
  • A successful track record in managing direct response campaigns within marketing media platforms, with specific experience in online video (YouTube) & programmatic display buying.
  • Experience building and leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams that have had a demonstrable impact. Strong stakeholder management skills are required.
  • A strong understanding of marketing algorithms & attribution models. You have the ability to effectively optimize campaigns to business KPIs at scale.
  • A strong understanding of media terminology, media math, and reach and frequency calculations.
  • Ability to analyze raw data and develop actionable insights related to marketing activity. You have experience with marketing experiments including but not limited to a/b tests, incrementality tests & search lift.
  • Ability and willingness to exercise a data-over-intuition mindset and be able to extract actionable insights across multiple reporting sources.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to navigate through ambiguity and work with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to think strategically and make long-term impactful changes to meet strategic goals.
